iMAT is led by professor Jeppe Vang Lauritsen. He is supported by leading scientists and specialists representing the research areas of the centre in the leadership team. On daily basis the centre is managed by the Centre Director and Centre Manager Laura Rammelt.
The iMAT board consists of the respective heads of departments as well as the Dean of Natural Sciences.
