The iMAT PhD & Postdoc Seminar Day brings together young researchers across departments to share their work, exchange ideas, and connect with potential collaborators. As part of the program, we are hosting a poster session where PhD students and postdocs from different fields of materials science can present their projects.

Doing a PhD or Postdoc can sometimes feel like working in a bubble. It’s not always easy to know who else at AU is working on related topics, or who has the expertise or equipment you might need.

This poster session is a chance to:

• Share your work in a casual and open setting

• Learn what other PhDs and Postdocs across departments are doing

• Build connections that may lead to collaborations – or simply make it easier to know who to ask when you have a question

Whether you want feedback on your project, inspiration from others, or just the opportunity to meet colleagues in a similar position, this is the place!
